Now Enrolling for the 2013-2014 School Year!

I will be starting Preschool for the 2013-2014 School Year!

Classes are as follows:

3 yr. olds: Tuesday and Thursday; 9-11 am; $90/mo

{about $10 a class or $5 an hour!}

4 yr. olds: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; 12-2:30 pm; $130/mo

{about $10 a class or $4/hr!}

There is a non-refundable holding/supply fee of $25. Parents of students are required once every 10 classes to help in the classroom {there will be a rotating schedule}. This is about once a month. HI! I'm Mrs. Lewis. In 2005 I graduated summa cum laude from ASU in Elementary Education with specializations in Math and Spanish. I student taught in first grade and was awarded ASU's "Student Teacher of the Year" Award! I taught for about 5 years teaching third grade, fifth grade, and middle school. While teaching 8th grade I was awarded "Teacher of the Year" for 2008-2009. I now stay home with my two children and love it! I miss teaching and decided to start a Preschool in my home since my oldest is now three! I'm excited to get these little minds ready for Kindergarten!

Apples 4 Bookworms is a well structured Preschool focusing on making the transition to Kindergarten easier for your child! We will focus on literacy, mathematics, writing and cutting skills, science, and social skills which will help your child succeed in school. I believe in making learning fun! This blog will be updated with the monthly "fun"damentals and lesson plans. So, you will be able to check out what your preschooler is learning! We will also have an end of the year program! If enrolled, you and your preschooler will be able to come for a "Meet the Teacher Night" where your preschooler will ease their nerves by meeting me and seeing their new classroom!
